Game night with @theboardgamelibrarian! If you're a board game fan, this is a night you don't want to miss. Jenn always brings new and exciting games for us to try out. I have also seen some prototype games from local makers testing them live. Bring a friend, or we'll help you find a gaming companion when you arrive.
- BYO Food (see our recommendations)
- FREE Entry
- FREE Parking
- No Outside Beverages (We've got you covered: alcoholic & non-alcoholic)
It works pretty simply: Bergen House has a bunch of games to choose from, plus The Board Game Librarian also brings a rotating selection of games. Or, you can bring your own game. Similarly, you can bring your own friend or play with one of ours. It's a great networking opportunity of like-minded individuals. Bergen House makes the mead, you can bring your dinner and your well-behaved canine friends, too. We all come together for a good time.
One of our biggest/best events every year. Details TBA (watch your emails)
-- This event is for Mead Club Members only (if Mead Club registration hasn't already closed for year, use the online Store to get your membership) --

Special mead release: an incredible version of Port of Call aged 2 years!
Food from Kraftwich food truck
Cake from Sweet Harmony on Main Street in Middletown
Delicious meads & meadtails (as always)
Here's Talon's description of Port of Call 2024: "This round is a little different than the last one (in 2022). When I bottled Port Of Call in July of 22, I immediately filled that barrel and another rye bourbon barrel, too. Yesterday, I blended those two barrels back into one batch. 2 years old already. Why blended? Well, the idea is that the flavor should be more rounded with the OG Port Of Call barrel offering softer wooden tones and the fresh rye bourbon barrel offering that sharp bourbon infused goodness."
Great mead. Great books. The best people.
Casual book club, everyone is welcome. Our book this month is called Into The Water by Paula Hawkins.
We're switching things up this month. Please come with ideas for next month's book club book. We will draw a book out of a hat!
